This is a homecoming for Fr. Don. A native of Nebraska, as a student Fr. Don studied at Iowa State and after graduation entered seminary formation for the Archdiocese of Dubuque from St. Cecilia’s Parish. Ordained on May 31, 2003, Fr. Don celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving here. Prior to his transfer to St. Cecilia in 2020, he served as pastor of the former St. Henry Church (now St. Francis of Assisi). Fr. Don speaks Spanish, which is a great gift to our Hispanic community.
