Kayla meets our teens where they are at to help them form and deepen their relationship with Christ. She is in charge of our High School Ministry which includes Life Teen (large group), Small Groups and Confirmation.
She was united in marriage to Dr. Pablo Raúl Stinga, a professor of Mathematics at Iowa State University on May 12, 2023 and is now expecting her first child, a baby boy, in February 2024. She grew up on a small hog farm in southwest Iowa, went to college at Iowa State, and graduated in May 2014 with a degree in Agricultural Communications. In 2020, she graduated from St. John’s University School of Theology with her Master of Arts in Ministry. In her free time, she likes to explore Ames, go antique shopping, and hang out with friends & nearby family.
