Hello, I’m Kathleen Pelzer, a Saint Cecilia alumni and parishioner. My early Catholic education gave me the foundation to cultivate a successful, faith-based educational career. I attended Iowa State University, obtaining degrees in both Event Management and Financial Counseling & Planning. During that time I participated in choir and represented my college as a senator in student government. Today I continue writing poetry and music in my free time. In 2025 I graduated summa cum laude, but more importantly, I developed a deeper appreciation for my community.
As your Marketing and Events Coordinator, I strive to give back to and expand on a community that means a great deal to me. I understand firsthand the positive impact our church and school can have on individuals at all life stages. Through marketing and events, I plan to showcase what makes St. Cecilia’s so special, its people!
