Family School Association (FSA)

FSA stands for Family School Association. FSA is an association organized by the families and teachers of St. Cecilia Catholic School. The FSA promotes family life in our school through family activities and projects that lead to the educational enhancement of our school. All school families are members of FSA. FSA relies on family dues and the money raised from fundraisers to provide events and other needs for the school. Some of these include: Trunk or Treating, Catholic Schools Week activities, Field Day, 5th grade bibles, books for each student at the book fair, and much more.

All parents are encouraged to attend meetings and share their ideas and find ways to get involved! If you have any questions or want to learn more, email or call Sara Leto at (515) 291-1664.

2018 How to make tuition affordable

The Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future School Tuition Organization (STO) and St. Cecilia School are pleased to once again provide tuition assistance to qualifying families. The STO program will be utilizing FACTS Management in Lincoln, NE to assist in determining the level of assistance to be awarded. FACTS Management has an application that all families need to complete to be considered for assistance. Your personal information will be held in the strictest confidence at all times. There is a $26 non-refundable processing fee for the online application which will be waived this year, thank you to the approval by our Catholic School Board. The FACTS application needs to be completed no later than March 28th. The application is available online at in both English and Spanish.

In addition to your completed application, you must include a copy of current wage and tax information. See attachment: “Grant & Aid Assessment” for specific requirements. Tax and wage documents can be scanned, faxed, or sent via U.S. mail postmarked no later than March 28th. We urge you to complete the materials early to allow time for notification of any missing/incomplete materials.

Scrip Information

What is Scrip? Scrip comes in the form of gift certificates to many local and national businesses. St. Cecilia is able to order the gift certificates at a discount and sell them at face value. This results in a winning situation for all involved as the business and school/faith formation programs both make money.   Tuition Credit The St. Cecilia Board of Education approved that 50% of the scrip profits generated by your family can be designated as you wish (school tuition, faith formation tuition, or tuition assistance).  The other half of the profits are used to support the education programs at St. Cecilia. This is a great way to support the school and faith formation programs and get tuition credit as well.   How to Get Scrip

  1. Place your order online at (see link below if you are registering online for the first time).  You may also complete a paper order form (see link below).
  2. Place order by 9:00 A.M. on any Monday. Certificates will be ready by that Friday.
  3. Tuition credit will automatically accumulate and be credited to the designated account quarterly.

If you have any questions concerning the scrip program, please contact our coordinators at
