Spring Concert
Thank you to Mrs. Wendt and Mr. Stanley for another great Spring Concert. We appreciate all you do and how our students are showcased in speaking  and singing parts. We are so proud of all of our students.
 

2018-2019 Tuition & Lunch Fees
Please make sure your child’s lunch and tuition accounts are paid in full by the last day of school, May 31st. If you need assistance in checking your balance, please contact the school office. Any credit will carry over to the next school year. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter!

FACTS Student Tuition Organization Awards
FACTS STO round one award letters were mailed today to those who completed the FACTS STO application by April 15, 2019. Please look for these letters in your home mailbox. If you don’t receive the letter by Wednesday, or have any questions regarding your assistance, please contact the school office. Those applications filed after April 15, 2019, should be eligible for round two awards which will be announced in July 2019. Thank you.

FACTS Tuition Management-Please Complete ASAP

We want to thank our families who have signed up previously for your new FACTS Tuition Management account. We’re over half way there! Please see below for instructions and more information on 529 plans.

Every preschool and school family will need to set up a FACTS account as we will bill tuition and fees through FACTS starting next school year. In order for us to have all your billing information in place, we are asking you to set up an account as soon as possible, so we can enter your 2019-2020 fees by the end of May.
1.) Go to: https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3Z9B0
2.) If you already have a FACTS account through the Student Tuition Organization (STO), you will use the same sign on and will see a separate tab ‘Payment Plan & Billing.’
3.) If you do not have a FACTS STO account already, please ‘create an account.’
4.) Upon signing in or creating an account, you will go through a set up process which will include adding your students and picking a payment plan option.
5.) After completing this process, your account will be ‘pending.’
6.) The office will receive notice and enter your 2019-2020 tuition and fees and ‘finalize’ your account, then your payment will start on the date you selected.
7.) Starting August 1st, you’ll be able to ‘prepay’ your students’ lunch accounts.

If you have a 529 plan, you may request to have it transferred to the account you are using to pay your tuition through FACTS. Again, we are asking you to complete this as soon as possible, so your prompt attention to this is appreciated. If you have any concerns, please contact the school office. Thank you.

EPI Supply Sale for 2019-2020
Save time and money on school supply shopping. Please go to www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks and use school ID#STC106 to purchase your 2019-2020 supplies online. School supply kits will be on your child’s desk/classroom on Back-to-School Night in August. For questions, please contact Judy Brown at judy.brown1974@gmail.com or see attached for more information. Please know that the School Supply packs are optional for you to purchase. You may purchase supplies on your own if you wish.

Coffee & Donuts Sign Up
Coffee and Donuts are served on most Sunday mornings following the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses. This is a time for parishioners to gather in fellowship while enjoying coffee, donuts, juice, milk and conversation. It can also be a time for groups to gain exposure to other members of our Church community.

Please consider covering a slot for St. Cecilia School. We are asking for 4 family or staff members to assist. St. Cecilia School is signed up to host on the following dates. If you’re able to assist, please sign up at:

PowerSchool eRegistration – July 2019
In June, you’ll receive a letter in the mail regarding PowerSchool eRegistration for the 2019-2020 school year. This process needs to be completed each school year. We’ll be asking you to complete this process within a short amount of time. Please look for this letter and complete the steps as soon as possible. You will be asked to verify your contact and emergency information and update 2019-2020 permissions (fieldtrips, medication, etc.).
Remember, this year your payment process will be through FACTS Tuition Management. Ms. Cowles, Tesdall and Vidimos will have their contact information on this letter in case you run into any problems. Thank you for your assistance in this important process.

Band
Due to so many end of the year activities, we will not have band the rest of the school year. Thank you parents for their support throughout the year. Library News:
A Note from our School Librarian
Hello parents, the end of the school year is upon us, so it’s time to start looking for all those great library books your student borrowed from the school library. The last week to check out books is the week of May 6th, and all books will be due on May 17th. In the next few weeks, please assist your child in finding and returning their library books. Please let me know if you need help with this process!

St. Cecilia Education Center Library Move – June 8, 2019 – We need you!
We will be moving the St. Cecilia Education Center Library back to the previous Education Center location on Saturday, June 8, 2019. We are looking for about 15 volunteers each for two shifts: 9-10:30 a.m. to move shelves and 10:30 a.m. to noon to move books and everything else. We do not need any trucks or trailers this time, however, could use some moving dollies if you have them.

Mileage Club has come to a close after 8 weeks of running and walking, three times a week. Students and staff totaled more than 3,856 miles this spring – congrats to all! A big thank you to the many volunteers, including parents, grandparents and staff, for making this program possible to our students.

If your student totaled 25 miles or more, a t-shirt was awarded for their accomplishment. If your student hit or exceeded 30 miles, he or she will have the registration fee for the Hope Run waived! Please look for the Hope Run facts sheet in their backpack, which includes the code you will need when registering on-line. The Hope Run is Saturday, June 15 at the Ames Middle School. Please note, a list of eligible students was provided to Mary Greeley and will be used when runners are checking in on June 15th. Registration deadline is June 13th.

Congratulations to the trophy winners for 2019 Mileage Club: K-2 grade trophy was awarded to Mrs Love’s class with an average of 30.98 miles per student. The 3-5 grade trophy went to Mr. Lewin’s class with an average of 32.29 miles per student. And the staff trophy was earned by Ms. Schoenrock with a total of 67.50 miles! The student tallying the most miles is Kiernan Ryan in Mrs. Love’s class!  Kiernan ran 55.75 miles and is therefore the top runner! Have a wonderful summer! FSA has planned some fun activities for the last day of school. We are looking for volunteers to help run each station after the family picnic. There are two shifts available for each station. Corpus Christi Procession
All St. Cecilia School families are invited to join the Eucharistic Procession for the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) on Sunday, June 23. The procession will begin after the 10:30 am Mass and travel from the front of St. Cecilia’s Church, through the neighborhood west of the church where Fr. Secora lives and back to the church. Lunch will be provided in the Social Hall immediately following the procession. All children who made their First Holy Communion this year are invited to have a special part in the procession but need to RSVP to ensure we have enough flower petals and banners for the children.
