For the parish renovation, Fr. Don wants to begin two committees. The Communications committee and the fundraising committee. The communications communications committee would keep the parish informed on the renovation activities and see that parishioner questions are answered. The committee would prepare presentations, use social media, and see that our bulletin and website is keeping parishioners up-to-date on the progress of our committees.
The fundraising committee will prepare materials to ask for gifts and have a campaign kickoff event. We would solicit advance major gifts, invite people to group events to ask for pledges, have a commitment weekend for the entire parish, and thank people for their participation.
