“At the Center of every process of catechesis is the living encounter with Christ.”
Directory for Catechesis, Paragraph 75

Middle school Faith Formation at St. Cecilia’s explores the truths of the Catholic Faith through meaningful discussion and experiences. Catechists are trained to engage students in dialogue about the lesson, sharing their own stories of encountering Jesus. In addition Zeke, the middle school coordinator, regularly meets with students to present different forms of prayer and reflections on applying the Works of Mercy in today’s world.

In-Person faith Formation classes meet on Wednesday Nights from 7:15-8:30 PM at St. Cecilia School. Students are divided into co-ed groups of 12 that are lead by a Lead and Assistant Catechist. In addition to discussing the content, classes take breaks to share snacks, play games, and grow as a community.
