Ways to Give
Family School Association - Teacher/Staff Wish List
The Family School Association (FSA) is helping to organize an ongoing Teacher/StaffWish List:
This sign-up genius includes a list of items that are currently on the “wish list” of St. Cecilia School’s teachers and staff as well as the opportunity to donate to a Field Trip Fund, to help keep field trip expenses lower. If there is a specific date that the item is needed by, that will be noted with the item. If you choose to donate an item, please bring it to the St. Cecilia School office. If you would like a receipt for your donation, please let Lois Vidimos know when you drop off your donation.
Thank you for your generosity!
What is Scrip?
Scrip comes in the form of gift certificates to many local and national businesses. St. Cecilia is able to order the gift certificates at a discount and sell them at face value. This results in a winning situation for all involved as the business and school/faith formation programs both make money.
The St. Cecilia Board of Education approved that 50% of the scrip profits generated by your family can be designated as you wish (school tuition, faith formation tuition, or tuition assistance). The other half of the profits are used to support the education programs at St. Cecilia. This is a great way to support the school and faith formation programs and get tuition credit as well.
How to Get Scrip
- Place your order online at www.shopwithscrip.com (see link below if you are registering online for the first time). You may also complete a paper order form (see link below).
- Place order by 9:00 A.M. on any Monday. Certificates will be ready by that Friday.
- Tuition credit will automatically accumulate and be credited to the designated account quarterly.
If you have any questions concerning the scrip program, please contact either Bev Williams at email@example.com

St. Cecilia Local Tuition Assistance Fund
What is local tuition assistance? From time to time, families find themselves in need of financial assistance to cover tuition at St. Cecilia due to unforeseen circumstances. This fund is set up specifically to receive donations to assist families when this happens. The contributions we receive to this fund are awarded only to St. Cecilia Families. It does not go out to other parishes.
How is it decided who received local tuition assistance? Each application is reviewed anonymously by the finance committee and a school board member. The decision is made based on amount received from PSAS/Student Tuition Organization, family income, family size, and extenuating circumstances,
What is the average amount given to school families during a school year? A family could expect from $100 up to one-half of their tuition bill.
How can I donate to this fund? Simply write a check to St Cecilia Parish and earmark the check for the TUITION ASSISTANCE for the school, or faith formation, or youth ministry.
