PowerSchool is a student information system that St. Cecilia School uses to maintain and update all student information. PowerSchool is a web based cross platform application that enables administrators, faculty, and staff to easily access student data. Student data is stored on a centralized, secure server accessible by a web browser.
PowerSchool uses the Internet to facilitate student information management and communication among school administrators, faculty, and staff. Daily attendance and faculty grade books are incorporated into the PowerSchool system.
PowerSchool needs to be updated each year by parents to give yearly permissions for fieldtrips, etc. Watch for an email during the summer before school starts to update for the following school year. PowerSchool also has the potential for parents, as well as students, to access significant data to stay current with student education, school bulletins, and lunch/milk balances.
