Morning of Reflection Journey Stories –
How Did We Get Here From There?

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it”. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Stories are one of the best tools to help us tap into our reserves of inner wisdom. Please join us on Saturday morning, October 21, at 8:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas (on the lower level) as we recall the stories that take us back to our roots, stories that are instrumental in how we came to be exactly in this place, brought into this space with God, with one another and with ourselves at this point in our lives. By paying attention, being aware of our story and listening and relating to the stories of others, we can change the way we live in the world as we continue to respond to God’s invitation to serve one another in the Body of Christ.

Our facilitator for the morning is Cindy Shaw, Co-Director of the Emmaus House in Des Moines. Everyone is welcome, no cost to attend. There will be a continental breakfast.

Please register via this link or by calling the parish office—233-3092.
